Tie Guan Yin Oolong tea (also known as Ti Kuan Yin or Iron Goddness of Buddah) was originated from AnXi, FuJian. It is both name of a type of tea tree and name of a type of Oolong tea made from Tie Guan Yin tea tree leaves. Lightly roasted Tie Guan Yin was introduced in early 90s. It quickly gained popularity due to its refreshing orchid aroma.
